Bible Promises that God has made to His people are vital to learn. We should learn to pray the Promises of God to Him for every situation we face in life. God is Faithful and Just to completely Honor His Word. It is Impossible For God To Lie (Hebrews 6:18).

The Holy Spirit Is Our Helper

He Is Our Helper!

In our Chrisitan lives, we must daily allow The Holy Spirit to Help Us.
John 14:26
But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. (NIV)

He Testifies of Christ:
John 15:26
When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me. (NIV)

• He Convicts:
John 16:8
When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt [Or will expose the guilt of the world] in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: (NIV)

• He Leads:
Romans 8:14
Because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. (NIV)

• He Reveals Truth:
John 16:13
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. (NIV)

• He Strengthens and Encourages:
Acts 9:31
Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace. It was strengthened; and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it grew in numbers, living in the fear of the Lord. (NIV)

• He Comforts:
John 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (KJV)

• He Helps Us in our Weakness:
Romans 8:26

• He Intercedes:

• He Bears Witness or Testifies:
Romans 8:16
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: (KJV)
The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. (NIV)

• He Forbids:
Acts 16:6-7
Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia. When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to.

Jesus Is The Light Of The World

Christians, don't have to worry about the darkness that surrounds them.

When Jesus comes on the scene, whatever the problem is, however boisterous
our storm are, however steep our climb may be, even when we stumble and fall and
find ourselves on the ground looking up, saying LORD Help Me Please!

Do not Fret About How Long You've Been There!

This Is The One Thing You MUST Know; When LIGHT Comes Onto The Scene...
Darkness Has To Go Back!

Come Boldly To The Throne Of Grace

Hebrews 4 READ
4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

We must be humble have real Godly fear before God. We must examine the motives of our faith as we approach God and in our Christian walk. In the Gospel of Jesus Christ we have greater privileges than under the Law of Moses. Even though the same principals of the gospel was preached.

Everlasting Covenant:

Better Promises and Better Covenant. We Have An Everlasting Covenant, Not Made
With Hands, But Made With Jesus Precious Blood.

Abraham
When We look at Abraham, the father of faith, we see that Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him for Righteousness. God called out Abraham and told him to leave his relatives and go to another country, where God Made A Covenant Promises To Him.

Abraham listened to God and thanks be to God he Believed God. God made a Covenant with him and through Abraham’s Seed All The Nations Of The World Would Be Blessed. Through His Obedience, A Called out Nation was Birthed.

God is Holy, and He was calling out a people that he could put forth His Spirit in and love them, they in turn Should Love God and FOLLOW all His Commandments in Obedience to Him.

All the Promises God made Israel, All The Laws and Ordinance put in Place to Help Them Live Righteously And in Obedience To Him, All The Provisions He Gave Them, All The Protection He Provided Them From Their Enemies, All The Love He Gave To Them......
DID THEY OBEY?

A HOLY GOD

The People Of God, Knew That GOD WAS HOLY!!!
When God Talked to Moses Out Of The Burning Bush, And Told Him To Take Off His Shoes For The Ground That He Stood On Was Holy!
Guess What????????
MOSES TOOK OFF HIS SHOES!!!

A CLEAN PEOPLE WAS REQUIRED:

When God Was Getting Ready To Give The Commandments To Moses, He Called Him To The Top Of The Mountain And There Talked With Moses.
Moses Went Up an Ordinary Man, He Came Back Down
The Mountain With The GLOY AND POWER OF GOD UPON HIM.
All The Children of Israel Saw His Glow.
It was so Powerful That Moses Had To Put A Vail Upon His Face.

A ORDINARY MAN BECAME EXTRODINARY BY FAITH

Moses a Ordinary Man, HE BELIEVED GOD
When Moses Gave Them The Law, Because of The Holiness of God's Word, The People Had To Wash Themselves First,
Before They Could Come And Hear
God's Word (The Law)
In Short, Every Thing That God Gave Them, The Law, The Ordinances,
The Cleansings And Sacrifices That They Had To Do So That Their
Sins Could Be Forgiven,
The laws and ordinances They had To Follow In Order
To Govern Their Everyday Lives, Was ALL Written With A Finger of Love
And The Express Word Of God's Mouth (THE WORD OF GOD).

WE HAVE A REST IN GOD:

The Old Covenant

The People Of God Were Commanded To Rest From ALL THEIR WORK On The Sabbath Day!
ALL OF THESE THINGS WERE A ALLEGORY To BRING Them Into The
Grace Of God In.... God's Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ.
Grace and Truth Came By Jesus Christ.

JESUS IS LORD OF SABBATH

The People Of God Have A Rest Through Faith In Jesus
We Rest In Him By Faith, In Believing The WORD OF GOD

This Is The Beginning Of Our Rest In Him. When Jesus
Returns For His People We Will Have Our Final Rest, Where
We Will Forever Be With Him.
Jesus Is Coming Back For His Bride - CHURCH!

Under The Law:
Their Sins Had To Be Forgiven By A Blood Sacrifice (Blood of Animals)
The People Were Called To Cleaness and Holiness Through Obedience To God Law

Without Complete Obedience To God's Law, They Had No Fellowship With God. God Would Lift Up His Glory From AMONGEST The People, They Had No Protection From Their Enemies, Neither Did They Have Favor With God.
The People Who Feared God, And Obeyed His Word (LAW) Their Lives Were Spared.

When They Went Before God In Praise, It Had To Be Pure

BUT GUESS WHAT??????? The People Of God
THEY DIDN'T RESPECT HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS
THEY DIDN'T RESPECT HIS HOLINESS
THEY DIDN'T RESPECT HIS WORD FULLY.

GOD SENT FORTH HIS SON

TO BE THE ONLY SACRIFICE FOR OUR SINS - THERE COULD BE NO GREATER SACRIFICE THAN JESUS WHO GAVE HIS LIFE, PAID THE PENALTY FOR OUR SINS WHICH WAS DEATH, SO THAT WE COULD LIVE.
BY JESUS CHRIST GRACE AND TRUTH CAME IN.

A BETTER COVENANT:

A BETTER COVENANT WAS MADE - NOT WITH THE BLOOD OF BULLS AND GOATS BUT WITH THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS!

THE BLOOD THAT ONCE AND FOR ALL CLEANSES US FROM OUR SINS.
SO HERE WE HAVE A BETTER COVENANT, A BETTER SACRIFICE, AND
DEATH
HAS NO VICTORY OVER THE PEOPLE OF GOD THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST

Under Grace And Truth -
Our Sins Are Forgiven By A Blood Sacrifice (The Blood Of Jesus)
Under A New And Better Covenant, We Are Called Into Holiness and Righteousness Through Faith In Jesus Christ
Without Faith, We Cannot Please God
Without Faith, We Have No Fellowship With God
God Says Lift Up HOLY Hands,
Come Before HIS COURTS With Singing

SO WHAT MUST WE DO.......PEOPLE OF GOD?

BE YE HOLY - FOR I AM HOLY!

WE MUST: Humble Ourselves and Possess Godly Fear In Reverance To A Holy And Rightous God.
God Is Holy, lest We should come short of the promised rest, through unbelief.

WE MUST BELIEVE GOD. WITHOUT FAITH WE DON'T KNOW GOD!

The privileges we have under the Gospel, are greater than any, under the law of Moses,
-They Had To Believe And Obey God
-We Have To Believe And Obey God

-Unbelief Separated Them From God
-Unbelief Separates Us From God

Unbelief is at the root of all unfruitfulness under the word.

Faith in the hearer is the Life of the word.
Let us then have diligence,
So That We Can Enter Into His Rest

Our Rest is, a rest of Grace, and Comfort, and Holiness, In The Gospel.
And a Rest in Glory, Where The People of God Shall Enjoy The End Of Their Faith.

OUR HEAVENLY REST:
The heavenly rest, which remains to the people of God,
It Is The rest WE Shall Obtain When The Lord Jesus Shall Appear From Heaven.
But Those Who Do Not Believe, Shall Never Enter Into This Spiritual Rest.

God has always declared man's rest to be in HIM, And Through His Son, To Be The Only Way Of Entering Into That Rest.

The Holy Scriptures are the Word of God.
His Word Convinces Powerfully,
His Word Converts Powerfully, and
His Word Comforts Powerfully.

It makes a soul that has long been proud,.....Humble;
It makes a perverse spirit, .....meek and obedient.
It makes Sinful habits,...... As If They Never Existed.
The Word will show the sinner all that is in his heart.

Let us hold on tight to Our Christian faith!

Let Us Come With Reverence and Godly Fear And Realize That We
Have Been Invited To The Mercy-Seat Where Grace Reigns.

We Have Boldness To Enter Into The Holiest Only By The blood of Jesus;
He Is Our Advocate, He Has Purchased All Our Souls.
